Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Pay & Position Type: $15 per hour (no experience) | Part-Time (25 to 30 hours per week)

Waterfall Academy is looking for a patient, dependable, and empathetic Classroom Aide to join our team immediately. You will work side-by-side with our lead teachers to support middle and high school students with autism and unique learning differences. Your main goal is to help students stay focused, manage sensory tools, and guide them safely through their daily school routines.

You will work side-by-side with our lead teachers to support middle and high school students with autism and unique learning differences. Your main goal is to help students stay focused, manage sensory tools, and guide them safely through their daily school routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Student Support:Work side-by-side with individual students to help them with classwork, life-skills labs, and daily routines.
- Keep Classrooms Organized:Help the teacher set up, clean, and organize visual schedules, workstations, and sensory tools.
- Behavior Support: Use positive strategies to help redirect and calm students when they feel overwhelmed or anxious.
- Logistical Guide: Supervise students safely during lunch, activities, and transitions between classrooms.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: No experience working in schools or with disabilities is necessary! We provide hands-on training.
- Mindset: You must be calm under pressure, flexible, dependable, and genuinely enjoy working with teenagers.
- Background: Ideal for students currently enrolled at school (Education or Human Services programs) looking for real-world hours, but open to any qualified local applicant.
- Physical: Must be active and able to bend, kneel, and move quickly to ensure student safety.
